LG's OLED TVs are all ready as 4K and Curved at CES 2015

If you were holding out for a less-expensive 65-inch OLED TV from LG, maybe one that uses 1080p resolution instead of 4K to cut costs, keep holding.

LG's 2015 lineup of OLED TVs includes models in 55, 65 and 77-inch sizes, with curved, flat and even flexible screens, but none of them have 1080p resolution; all are 4K.

While it will continue to sell the 1080p 55EC9300 throughout the year, LG didn't introduce any new 1080p resolution OLED TVs at CES. The company told CNET it would focus on 4K OLED going forward.

Review : LG 4K OLED TV

Surely pricing is hard to be affordable as ever, but I think it has worth.
When I get experience to see their 4K OLED TV, it makes me really surprised.
If it can go near consumers by finding suitable price, though of many people about TV will be changed.

Samsung's TV will get Tizen OS, It can be Succeed?

Samsung's Tizen operating system will power all the company's smart TVs in 2015, the Korean electronics maker announced Wednesday, another step in Samsung's efforts to gain a foothold for the troubled OS.

"The way society consumes entertainment...has evolved and now includes multiple devices and endless content from a variety of sources," the company said in a release about the new TVs. "Recognizing this shift, Samsung's new platform was designed to deliver an integrated entertainment experience that is at once streamlined and powerful."

Toward that end, the company said, the Tizen smart TVs will be able to automatically search for nearby Samsung mobile devices and connect to them, allowing content to be easily shared back and forth. "Users can also watch live broadcasts or TV on their mobile devices, anywhere on their home network, even when their TV is powered off," Samsung said.

Tizen is going on similar way with LG's WebOs. Actually it is hard to overcome existed mobile os such as Android or iOS. But it can be different on TV's area. Because TV's purpose is limited to just show contents in contrast with a mobile phone and Samsung is getting on the highest portion on the TV's market.

That's why their strategy seems to have a little possibility to succeed having their ecosystem, If it is possible that they make Set top box or Stick like CromeCast or Amazon TV. It is important to expand their area and their experience to more viewers. Now, anyone can change their existed TV to Smart one using Set top box. So Tizen should integrate its experience to TV and Set top box and spread as many consumers as possible.

And to achieve this, Samsung must win competition against Cromecast, Amazon TV, Roku rather than other TV's maker. Then they may take a little possibility. Indeed, can they do it?

Chrome cast shows new software update and its new Guset Mode looks great.

Google's popular HDMI media device, the Chromecast, gets even better today with a new software update.First shown at Google I/O this summer, Guest Mode lets users share their Chromecast without needing to give friends and family members the password to a Wi-Fi network. Instead, the new mode simply relies on a PIN number for access.
Chromecast would have made me interesting because this small gadget could change TVs to be smarter. And their new function 'Guest mode' is also interesting. Although their hardware is not changed, changed software may give users convenient. I think these small changes make innovation in life. Keep going Google!

Twitch's are developing their app at Xbox One

When Twitch announced that some changes were coming down the pike, it cited video-on-demand as one of the key reasons for the controversial tweaks to its game-broadcasting service. Well, with the additions to the outfit's Xbox One app it looks like the dream of accessing your favorite channel's past streams and highlights -- instead of just live broadcasts -- are a reality. Twitch says that the archived 'casts will become a part of a given user's channel page "gradually," and that it's going to be a rollout that spans throughout 2015 as your favorite channels come online with "the new system." What's more, no estimate was given regarding a timeframe for the feature to hit other platforms. VOD is just scratching the surface, though.

Twitch's all marks are interesting. In near future, they will able to encroach on the territory of TV's contents.
